What's it all about?

This creative and hands-on course is great fun for anyone interested in fantastic colour, sunshine and making beautiful things! No previous experience is required but it's best if you're over 16 years old. The course is also perfect if you have previously completed a 'Stained Glass for Beginners' course with Rob Croudace.

 

 

Who runs it?

Join stained glass makers Rob Croudace of R. G. Croudace Glass and renowned guest tutor Keira Mclean from Gestalt Glass and RDW glass, Glasgow and immerse yourself in our 3 day creative glass course. Keira specializes in fused glass and hand painting as well as working with local community art projects.

 

 

What do I get to do and make?!

Choose what you want to learn and make... stained glass, fused glass or some of both. The choice is yours to focus on the glass you love most and create your own small projects in a range of different exciting techniques. Explore lots of ideas with leaded stained glass, traditional glass painting, fusing and slumping glass to create your own wonderful, colourful, textured and personalized glass work. 

 

 

How will I be taught?
You will be given 1-1 and small group tuition by two experienced specialist craftspeople. Learn from plenty of hands-on experience with materials and tools in stained glass and fused glass. There will be ample time to practice glass working techniques, be supported and reflect on developing the key skills in an engaging and encouraging environment.
