To learn about the different effects that glass can have on your images, you will produce at least three glass pieces on single sheet glass as well as one fused image inbetween glass. Use your own imagery (or my own) & print with a range of coloured glass enamels. I can kiln-fire your pieces for you or alternatively guide & prepare you to do it yourself.
We use tools & materials that are economical & easily accesible so you can replicate the processes at home. Full details of equipment & materials suppliers are provided.
Course cost: £140 per person including all tools, materials & kiln firing. Lunch is included too!
Maximum of two students. 10am - 4pm in Ramsgate, Kent.
Preparation:
Spend a little time collecting half a dozen images you would like to use. For a screen print to work well they must be black & white (and high contrast) images. Please email me them as digital jpeg files about A5 size at 240 dpi a week before the course.
