Twitter craft chat with School for Creative Startups #S4CSCHAT

July 30th saw a whole host of creative talent from the School for Creative Startups 2014 alumni come together once more. We were invited by creative director Medeia Cohan to share our experiences with the world about working specifically in the arts and crafts sector.

The #S4CSCHAT hour flew past with plentiful insight into exactly what the challenges are establishing and running a sustainable creative start-up in the twentyfirst century. Despite being surrounded by mass produced items, there is room in people's lives and homes for traditional and hand made crafts, like stained glass, that take time and skill to produce. Because such items are hand crafted, each one is naturally slightly different from one to the next meaning what you own is something truly special, unique and yours.

It's clear from talking to our customers and business peers that so many people still feel a connection with the crafts, skills, techniques and products of the past that still make them so important, valued and loved today.
